Sponsored Students Immigration Advising
The International Students and Scholars Office (ISS) provides immigration advising for sponsored students and scholars to help you manage your immigration status. We offer one-on-one appointments, walk-in advising, and live chat sessions with advisors.
Advising Services
The ISS Office has a Sponsored Students advisor with whom students and scholars are welcome to walk-in and meet with or schedule appointments. To schedule an appointment with our Sponsored Student Advisor please contact iss@okstate.edu

The ISS Office does offer live chat for Sponsored Student Advisor specific inquiriesat the following times
M-F - 9am to 11am
M-F - 2pm to 4pm
Your Status is Your Responsibility
ISS advisors are trained professionals who are available to guide and support students concerning their immigration requirements and benefits.
International students must assume primary responsibility for knowing the requirements and benefits of their immigration status and for acquiring current information as it changes. Information is available on government websites including Study in the States and the Student and Exchange Visitor Program. Students and alumni may also choose to seek legal advice.
Legal Advising
The ISS can provide general immigration information, but we are not able to provide specific legal advice if presented with a specific set of facts. Students are welcome to contact an immigration attorney for specific legal advice.
