International Student Registration and Orientation

Step 1: Check if you need to take Placement Exams
If you are required to take Placement Exams, go to University Assessment & Testing webpage for more information.
A. Math Placement Exam
Math Placement testing in the afternoon. (Testing for Math Placement will be at the Math Learning Success Center and/or the fourth floor of the Classroom Building. Students WILL NOT be able to register for testing at University Testing Center).
B. Reading Placement Exam
Reading Placement testing (Testing for Reading Placement will be at the Math Learning Success Center and/or the fourth floor of the Classroom Building. Students WILL NOT be able to register for testing at University Testing Center).

Step 2: Register at University Health Services (UHS)
Upon your arrival, you should check in UHS.
Aug 13th, 15th (8:30AM to 11:30AM and 1:00PM to 3:00PM) will be available for undergraduates.
You will need to check in with University Health Services (UHS) for your new student health screening, and your blood sample will be drawn for a Tuberculosis test.
Please bring your OSU email address and ID number, a form of identification (Passport), and any immunization records for Hepatitis B and measles, mumps and rubella (MMR). Your records must be printed in English.
You will receive a yellow clearance card for International Students and Scholars (ISS) registration (see below) from UHS once you have completed your health screening.
It would be helpful to bring New Student Medical Requirements form filled out when visiting.

Step 3: Start your immigration registration online (must be from inside U.S.)
- Login to access your Student Profile through TerraDotta: https://issportal.okstate.edu/_portal/ using your O-Key credentials (Use the Login with Campus ID option).
- You have an email from the ISS for the registration instructions in detail.
- Also, scan and attach your passport, initial I-20, yellow clearance card from UHS and I-94 for the most recent entry to TerraDotta.

Step 4: Schedule your new I-20 pick-up time and date at the ISS office
You will receive a separate email upon your registration form submission.
You can pick up your Continued Attendance I-20 at the front desk of the ISS Office: 309 Wes Watkins Center. You MUST bring your passport or OSU ID card with you when you come to the ISS Office to pick it up.
- Step 5: If you plan to work, schedule your work permit session and attend the session

Step 6: ISS Online Orientation
International Online Orientation provides important information on immigration, legal, health and academic issues. All new international students (including transfers from U.S. institutions) are required to complete Online International Online Orientation program on Terra Dotta. If you finished Orientation and quiz on Terra Dotta prior to arriving Stillwater, you are done.
International Online Orientation is MANDATORY for all new international students. Failure to complete orientation will result in:
- a hold on your enrollment for the subsequent semester
- an additional $100.00 charge

Step 7: Advising meeting and enrollment
The Office of Undergraduate Admissions: Advising & Enrollment Sign Up will help you to enroll and check with your academic department advisor for any additional informationvisit their website:
- Please report to "Click Hall" in the Alumni Center between 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, August 16th, 2023, for your advisor sign-up. Your academic advisor will be assigned by the Office of First Year Success.
- Enrollment by appointment with academic advisor from Wednesday, August 16th 2023, to Friday, August 18th 2023.
- To be considered “full-time” you must enroll in at least 12 credit hours.
