ISS Registration and Orientation Information for Undergraduate
International Student Registration and Orientation
If you have any questions about ISS registration or orientation, please contact the ISS office at iss@okstate.edu with your OSU student ID and full name.

Step 1: Check if you need to take Placement Exams
If you are required to take Placement Exams, go to University Assessment & Testing webpage for more information.
A. Math Placement Exam
Math Placement testing in the afternoon. (Testing for Math Placement will be at the Math Learning Success Center and/or the fourth floor of the Classroom Building. Students WILL NOT be able to register for testing at University Testing Center).
B. Reading Placement Exam
Reading Placement testing (Testing for Reading Placement will be at the Math Learning Success Center and/or the fourth floor of the Classroom Building. Students WILL NOT be able to register for testing at University Testing Center).

Step 2: Complete ISS Online Orientation
The International Online Orientation provides important information on immigration, legal, health and academic issues. All new international students (including transfers from U.S.
institutions) are required to complete the ISS Online Orientation on Terra Dotta.
The International Online Orientation is MANDATORY for all new international students. You will not be able to enroll before completing the online orientation.
Please note: this Orientation is in addition to the in-person Orientation and Enrollment session AND the New Student Welcome Event. ALL sessions are mandatory.

Step 3: Register at University Health Services (UHS)
Upon your arrival, you should check in to UHS for your Health Screening.
For students beginning in Spring 2026:
Your blood sample will be drawn for a Tuberculosis test. Your Health Screening is available by appointment only. Call UHS 405-744-7665. If you do not have a phone, please visit the ISS office(309 Wes Watkins Center) from 8 am to 11:45 am and 1-5pm.
Please bring your OSU email address and ID number, a form of identification (Passport), and any immunization records for Hepatitis B and measles, mumps and rubella (MMR). Your records must be printed in English.
You will receive a yellow clearance card for International Students and Scholars (ISS) registration (see below) from UHS once you have completed your health screening.

Step 4: Once you’ve arrived in the U.S., start your online immigration registration
- Login to your Student Profile through Terra Dotta using your O-Key credentials.
- Use the Login with Campus ID option.
- ISS will send you an email with detailed registration instructions.
- Make sure to scan and attach copies of your:
- Passport
- Visa
- Initial I-20
- Yellow clearance card from UHS
- I-94 for the most recent entry into the U.S.
- Upload the copies onto Terra Dotta.
- Login to your Student Profile through Terra Dotta using your O-Key credentials.

Step 5: Advising Meeting and Enrollment
The Office of Undergraduate Admissions will help you to enroll and check with your academic department advisor for any additional information.
You are required to register and attend orientation and enrollment on Wednesday, January 7 at 9 a.m. at The Barnes Hlligan room in ConocoPhillips OSUAlumni Center. You will need to check in with UHS and ISS before you can enroll in classes, so make sure you complete the steps above before attending! If you need any further assistance, you can drop by 103 General Academic Building.
Once enrolled, login to your Terra Dotta account again and fill out the Enrollment Confirmation form. Make sure you have a screenshot or proof of enrollment that reflects you have registered in sufficient credit hours.
Reminder: International students can only enroll in one online course towards full-time enrollment requirement.

Step 6: Pick Up Your Continued - Attendance I-20
You will receive a separate email in 2-3 business days upon your enrollment confirmation submission on Terra Dotta.
Pick up your Continued Attendance I-20 at the front desk of the ISS Office: 309 Wes Watkins Center.
You MUST bring your passport or OSU ID card with you when you come to the ISS Office to pick it up.
