Step 1: Register at University Health Services
Upon your arrival, you should check in UHS.
Jan 7th, 9th and 13th (8:30AM to 11:30AM and 1:00PM to 3:00PM) will be available for graduates.
You will need to check in with University Health Services (UHS) for your New Student Health Screening, and your blood sample will be drawn for a Tuberculosis test.
Please bring your OSU email address and ID number, a form of identification (Passport), and any immunization records for Hepatitis B and measles, mumps and rubella (MMR). Your records must be printed in English.
You will receive a yellow clearance card for International Students and Scholars (ISS) Registration (see below) from UHS once you have completed your health screening.
It would be helpful to fill out and bring the New Student Medical Requirements form when visiting. Click here for other useful forms. -

Step 3: Advising Meeting and Enrollment
If you are a graduate student, you will proceed to go to the Graduate College at 202 Whitehurst Building and your academic advisor to finish enrolling in classes.
For the Graduate College visit, make sure to bring your official degree certificate, passport and I-20. Your hold cannot be removed with a provisional certificate. If you are from a country where the TOEFL/IELTS is required and you completed a degree from a recognized English-speaking country, please bring that official degree conferred transcript with you so that TOEFL waiver hold can be removed. Once you leave the Graduate College, you can proceed to your department for assistance with course selection for the semester and the removal of your advisory hold.
Once enrolled, login to your Terra Dotta account again and fill out the Enrollment Confirmation form. Make sure you have a screenshot or proof of enrollment that reflects you have registered in sufficient credit hours.
Reminder: International students can only enroll in one online course towards full-time enrollment requirement.
-
Step 4: Schedule your new I-20 pick-up time and date at the ISS office
You will receive a separate email in 2-3 business days upon your enrollment confirmation submission on Terra Dotta.
After receiving an email from the ISS office, you can pick up your Continued Attendance I-20 at the front desk of the ISS Office: 309 Wes Watkins Center.
You MUST bring your passport or OSU ID card with you when you come to the ISS Office to pick it up.
-
Step 5: Complete ISS Online Orientation
The International Online Orientation provides important information on immigration, legal, health and academic issues. All new international students (including transfers from U.S.
institutions) are required to complete the ISS Online Orientation on Terra Dotta. If you have finished the orientation and quiz on Terra Dotta prior to arriving in Stillwater, you are done.
The International Online Orientation is MANDATORY for all new international students. Failure to complete orientation will result in:
· A hold on your enrollment for the subsequent semester.
· An additional $100.00 charge.
